First 30 Days: Foundation + Friction Finder
Goal: Understand your sales workflows and identify 1–2 areas to test automation with low risk, high impact.
Step 1 - Audit Sales Workflow: Map the steps your reps take from lead → meeting → deal → handoff.
Pick Your Test Lane: Choose 1 or 2 areas ripe for automation. Most common:
Lead research & account enrichment
Follow-up sequences
CRM opportunity updates
Choose a Pilot Tool: Start with low-risk AI tools (e.g., Clay for enrichment, Smart-lead or Regie.ai for outbound, Uptics or Scratchpad for CRM updates).
Baseline Metrics: Track current rep output (meetings booked, time to first touch, % CRM data filled) to measure lift later.
Next 30 Days (Days 31–60): Launch + Learn
Goal: Go live with the pilot in your selected workflow and gather performance data + feedback.
Step 2 - Deploy with Guardrails: Let AI agents act but review outputs before sending (especially in outbound). You're building trust.
Record and Review: Use Gong, Fathom, or similar tools to see how AI-integrated workflows influence call quality, buyer response, and time saved.
Compare Results: Evaluate performance uplift vs. baseline:
Did the reps book more meetings?
Did CRM hygiene improve?
Was time-to-reply faster?
Gather Rep Feedback: AI adoption will fail without seller buy-in. Ask:
"Did it actually help you sell faster or better?"
Final 30 Days (Days 61–90): Scale or Scrap
Goal: Decide whether to scale, pivot, or pause. Create a longer-term roadmap based on pilot performance.
Step 3 - Decide on Go-Forward Strategy:
If ROI is clear: Expand to other workflows or teams
If mixed: Optimize prompts, models, or workflows
If there is no value: Cut the pilot and rethink the use case
Prep for Integration: Work with IT or ops to embed the winning AI agent into your CRM, email, and RevOps systems.
Executive Summary Report: Share learnings with leadership:
Efficiency gains
Cost/time savings
Rep adoption sentiment
Revenue impact (if measurable)
